Mini Beauty Haul

Last week during a lonely shopping trip up town, I popped into Boots and picked up a couple of beauty bits. Amongst them were these two L'Oreal Paris products.
Left: L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation | Shade 12 Natural Rose (£7.99)
Right: L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer (£9.99 Boots)

They were on offer for 2 for £12 so naturally I chose two of the more higher priced items that I had been urging to buy for quite some time. The offer is still running so check it out on boots.comThere's not a lot to say about the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation since it's possibly the most talked about foundation the last couple of months in the blogger world. I'm excited to try it and struggled immensely between Natural Rose 12 or Natural Beige 13. The tubes make it really hard to decipher the right match to your skin tone, which may be misleading if you buy before trying. I decided on Natural Rose as it looked slightly more yellow toned which would match my skin more.

The L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer promises up to 8 hours of hydration and a light enhancing base within the primer to brighten up dull skin and also creating an illuminating glow on the skin.

Here is a dollop of the Primer which is a bit on the big size... oops.  A little goes a long way as you will see in the next photo.

Due to the large dollop the primer produced me, I spread it evenly across my whole hand. You can instantly see the glow it has given to my hand, just imagine that on the face!

The product really reminds me of MAC's Strobe Cream and I think this is what swayed me to the product initially because who turns a cheaper down a dupe that does the same thing?

I can see the primer being my go to product on hangover days, at times where I need to rush out the house with minimal make up and a great primer for nights out where I want to feel a bit more glam.

Thanks for reading
